In the days and weeks after the four victims' bodies were found miles outside of Atlantic City, those that knew them tried to find some answers. Since police were operating their own official investigation privately, these loved ones weren't able to find much in the way of personal resolution through it, so they decided to try and find answers their own way.
Sadly, though, it seems like the victims' lifestyles had led them to become distrusting, sharing little information with anyone outside of their own immediate circle. Even then, the ones that knew the four victims well - that worked and lived alongside them in Atlantic City - weren't able to provide much helpful info...
