Welcome to UnSpun - your current events podcast and YouTube show. Every week, Jody Vance and George Affleck unspin the latest news in local, provincial, federal politics, and much more.

This week, Jody and George celebrate (?) the one-year anniversary of Vancouver Mayor Ken Sim and his ABC Vancouver party’s sweeping victory. Heck, even if Ken Sim or any other mayor in the region wanted to claim victory for achievements, the BC Provincial government is stealing their thunder and their power after yet another major legislation change that impacts housing decision-making and how little municipal governments have a say in it. If this keeps happening, it begs the question: Why do we even have local governments? And finally, Hilary Clinton makes some sense of it all—not Vancouver—the world right now. Find out why. All that and more on UnSpunpodcast.com
