#004 Earlier in 2020 parents around the world were faced with instantly becoming homeschooling parents - without choice - due to the worldwide pandemic. The bigger surprise has been the increasing awareness of how children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews learn and respond in this new environment vs the traditional education system.
This wasn't a surprise to Julia Black - The Lights On Mum. She's been at the forefront of the education evolution for years and has been working with parents, grandparents, and other adults to see the light within their children. Her Lights On Framework allows the child to learn and develop in a way that best suits their learning style, rather than forcing the child into a model that's been accepted worldwide and often overlooks much of the creativity of the mind. The learners explore through their passions and tap into the very best leading-edge brain science for maximizing their potential - on every level.
What Julia has found is often the children who are labeled as having something wrong with them, being problem children, or having a learning disability, many times it's the learning system the child is being pushed into that is the issue.
