The further we sail through the door the smaller the exit becomes in yet another inversion of action and outcome. I wonder what position you might be finding yourself in Plato's Cave?
Are you transfixed by the frightening shapes on the walls?
Are you the one making shadows before the flames?
Are you still confounded by the hunger games?
Days, weeks, months going by as the bloody chum is tossed from the boats every hour of every day to keep us fed and keep us coming back for more and more. Now the "heroes" of yesteryear are falling and we're all doing what we're supposed to do.... tweet about it, talk about it, make TV presentations about it. Doing everything except what is necessary to stop it. And that is to simply ignore it. And burn the mask. And those who wear them.
