The Labour Court has granted an interdict to American multinational automobile manufacturer, Ford against an on ongoing strike by employees demanding a share in the company's profits. The interdict has ordered striking workers to stop demonstrations and go back to work today. Workers affiliated to the National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa (NUMSA) have downed tools at the company for a second day of demonstrations at the company's Silverton plant in Pretoria.
