South Africa holds its national and provincial elections the most hotly contested since apartheid ended three decades ago, with a record 27.7 million people having registered to cast their ballots. Sakina Kamwendo spoke to the Executive Chairman of the Institute of Elections Management Services in Africa, Terry Tselane, and political analyst, Professor Susan Booysen, about additional resources that have been availed by the IEC to administer elections.
