The Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development, Thembi Simelane has denied having an improper relationship with the contractor hired by the Polokwane municipality. Simelane says Gundo Wealth was not a paid service provider of the Municipality, only a financial advisor. The minister was briefing the Portfolio Committee in Parliament about allegations of her having 'benefited' from VBS during her tenure when she was Mayor of Polokwane.
