Welcome back to the Uprawr Podcast, Today's guest is Nathan barley Philips who is currently working as an A&R for nuclear blast records, one of the biggest indie metal labels in the world that currently rosters acts like hatebreed, in flames and slayer. He also does A&R for sharptone records which is a fairly newer alt label that’s had some big breakout acts like holding absence, loathe and caskets. We go over how he got into the music industry and what exactly an A&R does, and he also goes into some of his own personal achievements with singings early on he had with his own record label.
