NINTENDO OWNED KYOTO SANGA PARTNER WITH AFC BOURNEMOUTH - With Japanese Sports Expert Dan Orlowitz
Manage episode 446848866 series 3601176
AFC Bournemouth have partnered with yet another club and this time have added a Japanese club to their ranks. Whilst there is no investment from Bill Foley and his Black Knight Football and Entertainment group, there may be in the future.
And whilst Kyoto Sanga have been struggling on the pitch, they do have massive owners in Kyocera and Nintendo - who many will know from the Game Boy to the Super Nintendo with a splattering of N64 and more recently the Nintendo Switch along with Wii and Gamecube (and us old enough will remember the NES which took the world by storm!)
We met Japenese Sports Expert and former The Japan Times leading Sports Editor Dan Orlowitz to discuss our partnership with the Japanese club, to understand the J-League and the culture of sport in the country.
We delve into the players who played for the club, the ownership of the club, the whole ethos and loads more in this interesting and engaging interview which should not be missed by Nintendo, AFC Bournemouth, Kyoto Sanga and Japanese football fans worldwide!
We thank Dan for his time on this special show!
Will we be seeing The Legend of Semenyo - Vitalities Awakening or maybe Super Kluivert World or perhaps PoKepaMon this season?
