Dismantling Racism Requires Overcoming Capitalism
Manage episode 405874463 series 2628335
Our guest minister, the Reverend Jonathan Rogers, guides us through our process of formally committing ourselves to "dismantle racism in our selves and in our institutions." His sermon traces racism's history on our continent, and how we have historically enshrined it in our governing documents and practices, can give us some clues about its origins and causes.
But before that, you'll hear from a newly-minted member (albeit long-ish-time attendee and volunteer!) on the importance of pledging; plus our readings authored by Rev. Rosemary Bray McNatt and Andrea Hawkins-Kamper.
