Orangutans!

Come on in and hang out with the Varmints! podcast and the Critter Crew! It’s time to learn about orangutans!

But first, the news!

World’s only albino orangutan needs new home away from ‘human threat’ , article courtesy of The Telegraph.

Can’t a girl eat her breakfast without paparazzi interference? Sheesh.

The Mystery of the Orangutan Flange will not be solved by us, but you can read about it here, courtesy of arkinspace.com.

Orange-reddish fur on orangutans? What’s that all about? Read all about that and other cool things right here!, courtesy of livescience.com

I wanna be like you! Video courtesy of YouTube user DaveTheManThatCan.

Not in Kipling’s book but we don’t care.

Another great character from Terry Pratchett’s Discworld novels, The Librarian of the Unseen University!

L-space equation: BOOKS = KNOWLEDGE = POWER = (FORCE X DISTANCE ÷ TIME).

MEET KEN, SAN DIEGO ZOO’S MOST INFAMOUS (AND HAIRIEST) ESCAPE ARTIST, article courtesy of newsweek.com.

Ken Allen, the orangutan, allegedly gives the photographer of this photo, Reddit user Dibble86, the finger at the San Diego Zoo in 1992.
