If you had to pick the single most important thing about the Christian faith, what would it be? There are lots of great choices including love, grace, mercy, justice and purpose. And if you went to church as a kid, maybe you discovered that "Jesus" is often the correct answer to most questions about faith. It's true in this case as well, but it's not His teachings or His healings that top the list. Instead, it's His death, burial and resurrection that are Of First Importance, which happens to be the title of our current sermon series at Velocity. As we prepare to celebrate Jesus' resurrection over the next few weeks leading to Easter Sunday, we'll look at all three events, why they happened -- and how they change everything.
