And now for this week’s prescription:

On this week’s dose, we are joined by Ritwik Pavan, the CEO and Founder of Krava, a company dedicated to crafting contemporary backyard spaces and reimagining the way we build housing.

Ritwik's entrepreneurial spirit has been evident from an early age, having built an app and started several businesses throughout high school and college. After a brief hiatus, he found himself captivated by the pressing issue of housing shortages, which prompted him to immerse himself into the world of construction and real estate.

In the interview, Ritwik shares the creation story behind Krava, and why he is so passionate about solving this problem. We also dive into the details of how Ritwik and team designed their first prototype (which sits in the background behind Ritwik if you’re watching on video), and how the whole process works. You will also hear about Krava’s short and long-term objectives as we explore the broader opportunity to address the housing shortage through a completely reimagined, automated production and installation approach to home construction.

Venturing out to the Krava headquarters nestled in the Austin hill country was an awesome experience, and we are excited to share this conversation with you all.
