Godzilla 2

King Ghidorah, Mothra, and Rodan will be facing off against the king of monsters in Godzilla 2. Gareth Edwards Returns to direct the film and no release date has been announced. Another movie by Legendary has been announced called Skull Island focusing on where King Kong is from and may lead to more diversity in Godzilla’s lineup as well as putting him against King Kong Himself.

Guardians of the Galaxy

Guardians hits the theaters this Friday August 1st. Josh Brolin stars as Thanos and will play a major role in the film. Stay for the end credits something big is set to happen. Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is set for release in 2017.

The Division

The Division is a military shooter coming to the PS4 and Xbox One. Players will be given zones to fight for and control called Dark Zones. Other players can take it from you and steal everything you fought so bravely for. The character customization for the game allows you to not just customize the looks but the back story of your character. Also, if there is a trade black market system where you can exchange items.

Destiny Beta

Coming in September the creators of the Halo Franchise are bringing forth a new IP, Destiny. You take on the role of a Guardian and choose between the Hunter, Warlock, or Titan. While players are in the Watch Tower you will see the game in a 3rd perspective, while on missions and in combat you will take on the 1st person perspective that we have come to love about Bungie games.

Peter Dinklage known as Tyrion Lannister in Game of Thrones voices your companion Ghost. Ghost is an AI that was created by the Traveler to accompany Guardians on their missions.

The vehicle of choice for Guardians is the Sparrow, a speeder bike reminiscent of those that appear in Star Wars will carry you across maps and through pvp. Players won’t be able to pick one up until levels 5-6. The big improvement is the handling, it does not have that sloshing feel that the warthog from Halo was best known for.

Players will also have no small choices of weaponry in Destiny, ranging from close to long range, Guardians must choose their abilities and weapons well to be able to overcome their obstacles and other Guardians.

The video games graphics are visually stunning from the moment you start the game. Bungie is not holding back when using the current gens hardware.

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice

The teaser trailer for the movie that was shown at San Diego Comic Con and released on the web to a lucky few that are able to find it before it is taken down. Batman is wearing a armor, could it be a Kryptonite lined suit? Superman staring down at Batman with a scowl on his face and eyes glowing red. What is up with the Bat Signal, the Bat Symbol had any curves to outline the wings and looked more like a sensor bar.

Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) costume was revealed and was a bronze tarnish look. There was no red, white, and blue on the costume. Which gives into the fact that this is going to be more or less an origin for her, which will allow her to don the red, white, and blue costume we know and love in a later film.

Avengers: Age of Ultron

From Hall H at San Diego Comic Con the teaser trailer for the movie was shown to a hungry crowd of viewers. Also revealed was Vision (Paul Bettany also plays J.A.R.V.I.S.) and a beaten torn Ultron Prime who will later have a shiny new body. Hulk vs Iron Man in his famed Hulkbuster armor, Captain America’s Shield is broken in three places, and the Avengers may finally be defeated as Tony is walking over his beaten comrades.

Deadpool Movie – Leaked Test Footage

While the Deadpool movie has been in development hell for the past few years due to scrip difficulties (Fox not wanting to give an R to a continuously NC-17 written script). Making it’s way to the internet was a short CG test footage that is used to show execs what the film will look like for the movie to get green lit. As soon as it was leaked, Fox immediately made it’s move in removing it from the web. If you managed to read the script that was leaked several months back, you may notice how similar the two are. Could Deadpool finally be making his way to the big screen? Let’s hope so!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014)

The new reboot of the beloved franchise directed by Michael Bay, the same man that brought us Transformers, Armageddon, and Bad Boys; will be hitting theaters this August. Megan Fox stars as April O’Neal the redhead news reporter that follows the Turtles around.

Walking Dead – Season 5

In Season 4 Rick and the group were captured in Terminus, a place that was once thought to be a bastion of hope. In the trailer we see them join forces with their captures to make their way to Washington to deliver the cure. Beth has also been captured and is seen in a hospital gown and is pistol whipped by a uniformed police officer.

Air

Starring Norman Reedus and written/directed by Robert Kirkman will be about a maintenance worker trapped in a converted missile silo which now holds important people in cryogenic tubes. The air has become poisonous to breath, while Norman’s character is in the silo tragedy strikes. No more information has been given about the movie at this time. It is still in production.

Dragon Age: Inquisition

Coming in October the latest entry in the franchise will hit store shelves. The title is completely open world and one region is larger than the land of Kirkwall in Dragon Age 3. The veil between the fade and reality is being torn and the Inquisitor is tasked to fix it and gather followers to fight alongside you. Be sure to pick up your copy of the epic tale when it hits stores!
