Due to the COVID-19 crisis and making music of my own over the past few months I haven't done a new podcast in awhile. The next three are very special. Cleveland troubadour and local legend Charlie Wiener came up with a plan, along with a few other people, to bring music to our homes since we can't go out to clubs, so he had Northeast Ohio's best singer/songwriters record songs in their homes and he showed them. One of the goals was to raise money for personal protective equipment for workers, food banks and other charity organisations involved in fighting the COVID crisis. Each performer in these shows have corresponding videos and others available on YouTube, so if you like what you hear here, please check out their video pages and drop a tip in their respective virtual tip-jars or PayPal accounts!!! No one is making money as long as the clubs remain closed.
This episode and the two that will follow will feature that music, and it's great stuff. So, without further ado, here is Lifelines for the Frontlines:
DAVE SMETLTZ: It's Grace
RON JARVIS: Them Dancehall Girls
CHARLIE WIENER: We'll Be Drinkin' Together (While We're Alone)
CHARLIE MOSBROOK: Together Alone
