Welcome to the 1st part of this Episode. A lot has happened in recent months in our world vis-à-vis the geopolitical context.

  • Our Prime Minister's Modi visit to USA and his unprecedented reception by the US establishment which culminated into remarkable deals and pacts being signed between USA and India;
  • Rebellion (or not?) in Russia by Wagner group led by Yevgeny Prigozhin, called Putin's Chef amidst the "Special Military Operation" by the Russia in Ukraine;
  • No breakthrough in India - China border standoff as usual; and
  • Purge of Ex-Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr. Imran Khan and his political party by the Army Chief of Pakistan.

To discuss and throw an important light on the above key events we have with us in this Episode -

  1. Ms. Himja Parekh, who is the co author of 2 books - The New Global Order and Korean Peninsula. She is also one of the youngest recipients of the Global Rotary Professional Exchange Program with United States of America. An eternal student of history, she holds a masters in finance and is currently engaged in the non profit sector.
  2. Mr. Navroop Singh, who has also co-authored the above two books and is an attorney practicing IP related laws with the Delhi High Court & Supreme Court of India. He is also an analyst and a keen student of geopolitics and have written countless articles and have his own blog where he keep writing on relevant subjects.

In the first part of this episode, our discussion revolves around the following:

(1) Modi's USA Visit and India-America Relationship

(2) Wagner Rebellion and Russia
