On today’s 111th episode of Viewpoints, we’ll travel to Québec, Ontario, and British Columbia. Our first stop will be in Laval, Québec, where 200 Amazon employees are the first to join a union in the country. Amazon is fighting back. Then to Ontario, where the Six Nations of the Grand River Development Corp could soon become the largest Indigenous energy storage holder in North America. To Abbotsford, BC, where music fans are shedding a tear. The Sound of Music store is closing its doors after decades in business. The Irvings will close up shop in June. And finally to Cobourg, Ontario, where police recently collected more than 80 stolen shopping carts as part of the Shopping Cart Reclaim Project.

Thanks to our journalists, Jeff Gard, Jules Bugiel, Mick Sweetman Andrew Dow, and to one of the newest additions to our team, Mike McCulloch. National editors Victoria Fenner and Maureen McEwan. Viewpoints is produced by the Community Radio Fund of Canada. Host and producer Boris Chassagne.
