A professor at the University of Western Ontario is looking at whether the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (Sept. 30th) has true meaning and impact for Indigenous people and all Canadians. Is it just a “surface-level acknowledgement” from Canada, or more than that? Professor Cody Groat will be with us. And, could a 1% hike in the Harmonized Sales Tax become the solution when it comes to financing municipal infrastructure projects? Economist Craig Brett argues it could!
