On today’s Viewpoints:
The Six Nations elected council will strongly oppose Doug Ford’s government plans to convert 7,000 acres of Ontario’s Greenbelt into housing developments. 6.9 million people across the country, including almost 1.8 million children, experienced food insecurity in Canada’s 10 provinces last year. Numbers in Nova Scotia are at an all-time high. We’ll go to British Columbia where unemployment numbers in the Kootenay region seem to be higher than the national and provincial average. And the Skydancer Indigenous Cultural Centre and Art Gallery opens its doors in Spruce Grove, Alberta.
