Christ's Cross has always met with resistance. The ways of the world are dark. It is as the #Lord said in Mark chapter eight and verses thirty-four to thirty-eight which addresses discipleship in direct relation to the world. #Christ warned "whosoever therefore shall be #ashamedofme and of #mywords in this #adulterous and #sinfulgeneration; of him also shall the #Sonofman be ashamed." In this context will also find "Come after me" and "lose his life for my sake and the gospels shall save it" bring a straightforward context of the #costoffollowingChrist. There is a cost.
