Jonah the prophet was a great example, Jonah's act of disobedience, God's reaction to man's disobedience. Jonah disobey God's commandment and went his own way. Jonah didn't get too far before god discipline showed up while Jonah was asleep on a boat. Soon he was thrown overboard and in the belly of a big fish for 3 days. Jonah prayed, God forgave and Jonah obeyed and did as God said, and the people repented and God spared the destruction of their land.
