Composer, doctor, and author, Robert Burns Arnot, spoke about his recent transition from medical doctor to classical composer. He highlights his career of studying the trumpet at the New England Conservatory of Music under Paul Gay in middle school. Though he showed an interest and talent for composition, he focused on his medical studies for many years. He also became a New York Times bestselling author and has written 15 books on nutrition and health, including "The Aztec Diet". Now, he switches focus back to his original study of music. He talks about his recent catalogue of works, including various works for orchestra, and his newest recording "The Cottonbrook Suite" that features many of his new compositions.
