This is Episode 35 of the VulnerABLE Podcast! From his first attempt at entrepreneurship completely crushing him, and stopping him for 20 years. To now being a successful founder and mentor to many!Going into his teen years he came to a crossroads realizing that his life would take one of two paths, either something in the food service industry or manual labour. Not finishing school made him feel like his choices were limited. After spending time in the restaurant industry, and working his way up, he decided he was going to go off on his own. He started a catering company with the belief that he was going to be successful, that he would become a millionaire. But only a year in he realized how little he knew about running a company, he would end up on the verge of bankruptcy and losing it all. The most painful part of failing wasn’t the failure itself, it was having to turn to his family and admit his mistakes. In his words it was needed to humble himself. His failing business would also leave a feeling of shame and disappointment that lasted for the next 20 years of his life, and stop him from venturing into entrepreneurship for quite some time. After returning to the kitchen, and working 80 hour weeks, it would be a mentor that started to shift his mindset. This would be the beginning of him stepping back into entrepreneurship, and learning the skills he needed to be successful this time around. Now he’s the owner of MJF Solutions, helping businesses with their sales, lead generation, and branding. He’s also a speaker, using his passion for storytelling to motivate and inspire others to follow their dreams. For more information on Mario Francella you can follow him on social media:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/mario.j.francellaLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/mfrancella/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/mrfrancella/
