Happy World Mini Grand Prix week everyone!
Most of the Vurb crew are hard at work at Mesquite MX in Nevada to bring you all the content from all the action. Meanwhile, I stayed back at the office to make sure everything ran smoothly.

So, I decided to call up my best buddy Steve Matthes, who will be absolutely shredding on his bLU cRU (Bike of the Year) on today's practice day, to get his thoughts on the event. WE here at Vurb have talked him into being an amateur motocross specialist now, so you're welcome for that. Matthes said that WE are holding him against his will to attend our event and he also lays out his demands to attend.

Then I called up former GEICO Honda rider Blake Wharton to talk about his legendary week at the World Mini in 2007. That year Wharton raced seven classes and won five of them on four different bikes a Supermini, 125, 250, and 450. It's something that the sport had never seen and will probably never again. Wharton goes into detail about the event and he remembered it like it was yesterday.
