It’s the 20th of March as we wake up this morning, many will be aware that the Economic Freedom Fighters will be having their National Shutdown protest. The party has said the protest is about voicing their concerns with the continuous load shedding facing the country and against Cyril Ramaphosa’s presidency amongst other things.

In the build up there have been concerns that the protest could erupt in violence, while others have highlighted the fact that people shouldn’t be forced to participate in the protest. What are the political implications of this protest? The team was joined by political analyst - Khanyi Magubane
