Welcome to today's episode of "Wake Up Sydney!" where your host Johnny Rocket brings you the latest updates on weather, traffic, and trains in Sydney to ensure a smooth start to your Sunday, July 28, 2024.

Starting with the weather, Sydney presents a mixed bag today. The CBD enjoys partly cloudy skies with a cool morning at 10°C, anticipated to hit a high of 16°C. Feel the brisk westerly winds if you're out and about. Parramatta reports cooler temperatures, starting at 8.9°C and a modest climb to 14°C, with showers possible tomorrow. Over at Bondi Beach, temperatures are slightly milder at 11.4°C, reaching 14°C under similar partly cloudy skies, with rain also on the horizon for Monday.

In terms of traffic, Sydney's roads are remarkably clear today, guaranteeing an easy drive throughout the city. However, if you're heading to the afternoon's Sydney Swans game at SCG or the evening IVE concert at Qudos Bank Arena, consider using public transport. Do note, train services on the Blue Mountains and Western lines face disruptions because of urgent repairs. Replacement buses are available, but check start times as they have not been confirmed yet.

Johnny encourages all listeners to make the most of this chilly but lively day in Sydney, maintaining positivity and energy. He wraps up reminding everyone to plan ahead owing to the minor disruptions in train services. Tune in to "Wake Up Sydney!" for your daily dose of local happenings, weather updates, and much more!
