Early in the morning on D-Day, Dick Winters led a small group of 12 men on a daring assault to destroy a German four-gun 105 mm artillery battery sighted on Utah Beach. The attack was successful and was later chronicled in the second episode of the amazing 'Band of Brothers' series. How accurate was the account? What really happened?
