I was incredibly excited being invited to the House of Lords to record this interview with Iain McNicol.

Iain shares his own personal story and experiences as a trade union officer, his career in the Labour Party as an organiser working his way to becoming the general secretary of the Party.
He explores the ways that May called the 2017 election and how the party responded to that election.
This is a fascinating interview but I was really intrigued by his never told previous story about how he was with Tony Blair when he got the call telling him John Smith had died. A turning point in history!

This is a brilliant episode so please review this podcast, share it with other Labour supporters and get out on the doorstep to make a difference.
