Marisha Wallace is a bright star of Broadway and West End Musicals, who has navigated the turbulent nature of show business with more than just a touch of class.

From humble beginnings in rural North Carolina, Marisha talks to Glyn about her life growing up on a pig farm and how singing in church taught her how to achieve perfection in performing. She talks about the lack of leading roles for black people within theatre and how she hopes to write material for the stage to give more opportunities to young black performers.
