Let's take a trip to what some consider the evilest place on earth, Dudleytown, CT. This small abandoned village nestled between mountains is creepy and off putting even before you learn about all the cursed stuff that happened there. Legend says that an ancestral Dudley made a shady play for the throne of England in the 16th century and everything went downhill from there. It would appear the curse that was put upon the Dudley family followed them to the New World, because Dudleytown was beleaguered by accidental deaths, insanity, demonic activity and more before being completely deserted. Was the curse real, could it have been an extremely unfortunate string of bad luck, or was Dudleytown merely resting on a nexus of evil? Tune in and find out if We Were Had! We Were Had is a podcast of Murder, Mystery, and the Unnatural!

Your hosts, Comedians Mae Planert, Max Spinelli, and Ben Kirschenbaum dive in each week to bring you the facts.
