My guest on this episode is Mary Ann Smith.
Mary Ann is a highly experienced leader who has been coaching within global enterprise and corporate sectors for over 30 years. She is also a successful company CEO, so not only understands but has lived the challenges faced by business owners and experienced by staff in companies/large organisations.
She also has experience of coaching in highly technical, complex and challenging industries. She is co-founder of Kingsmith Accountancy with her husband Paul Kingham and Director of We Achieve Associates, specialising in the growth and exit of businesses with £1m to £20m revenue.
She is passionate about developing Scottish business, holding positions as a National Board Director for Scottish Chambers of Commerce and is President and CEO of Dunbartonshire Chamber of Commerce. She is also passionate about supporting the development of women to lead businesses and be positioned in C-Suite roles and embracing entrepreneurship within our education system.
From childhood Mary Ann was always an entrepreneur, seeing opportunities and finding ways to create wealth and value despite the barriers around her. On a lighter note, she has been a competitive Latin American and Ballroom dancer, is a landscape and portrait artist, has a weekly radio show and is currently training for a body building show before her 55th birthday next year!
For Mary Ann, age is never a limit and as such she embraces every opportunity to better herself and support others to do the same on her journey through life.
