Being diagnosed with cancer is never something you want to experience, but not knowing if you have cancer is even worse. When I was 18, I was diagnosed with Human papillomavirus (HPV). I never heard of it before and was told that it is an STD and would go away in time. I was asked to return for follow-up tests every three months and for a year I did, routinely, but it never went away. I grew anxious...
