Good day, Chicagoans! It's time for your local weather forecast brought to you by the National Weather Service. Let's dive right into it.
Tonight, expect a 20 percent chance of showers with mostly cloudy skies and a low around 54. Be prepared for a south southwest wind around 15 miles per hour, with gusts as high as 30 miles per hour.
As we move into Tuesday, rain is likely before 2 pm, followed by showers mainly between 2 pm and 4 pm. It will be mostly cloudy with a high near 64. Get ready for some breezy conditions with a southwest wind of 15 to 20 miles per hour, gusting up to 30 miles per hour.
Tuesday night, showers are likely with the possibility of a thunderstorm before 8 pm. This will be followed by a chance of showers and thunderstorms between 8 pm and 11 pm. Expect a low around 38 with breezy conditions and a west wind turning north, ranging from 10 to 20 miles per hour, gusting up to 30 miles per hour.
Moving on to Wednesday, it will be partly sunny with a high near 42 and a north wind of 15 to 20 miles per hour, with gusts as high as 30 miles per hour.
Thursday brings sunny skies with a high near 56, while Thursday night has a 20 percent chance of showers after 2 am. Friday is expected to bring showers mainly after 2 pm, with a high near 64.
The weekend looks a bit wet with showers likely on Friday night, showers and thunderstorms possible on Saturday, and more showers on Sunday. So get ready, folks!
