Let's talk about the weather in Chicago, Illinois, specifically 4 miles northeast of the city. Today, expect a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mostly between 3 pm and 5 pm. It will be mostly sunny with a high near 81 degrees Fahrenheit, with a south-southwest wind of 5 to 10 miles per hour, changing to east-southeast later in the day.
Tonight, there's a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 7 pm, and then again after 10 pm. The skies will be partly cloudy, and temperatures will drop to around 70 degrees Fahrenheit. The winds will shift from east to west-southwest at 5 to 10 miles per hour.
Looking ahead to Monday, there is a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, especially after 1 pm. It will be partly sunny with a high near 83 degrees Fahrenheit and a light south-southwest wind.
As we move through the week, expect a mix of sun and clouds with chances of showers and thunderstorms on and off. By Thursday, the skies will clear up with plenty of sunshine and temperatures reaching around 77 degrees Fahrenheit.
