So, let's dive into what's happening in Portland, Oregon over the next few days. Currently, we have an Excessive Heat Warning in effect. Overnight, expect mostly clear skies with a low around 64 degrees and a gentle north northwest wind around 5 miles per hour.
Friday is going to be sunny and hot, with a high near 100 degrees. The wind will pick up a bit, blowing from the north northwest at 6 to 11 miles per hour. As we move into the weekend, get ready for more sunshine and heat.
Saturday, temperatures will soar to around 101 degrees during the day, and it will remain mostly clear with a low around 70 at night. Sunday will be scorching hot with a high near 103 degrees, so make sure to stay hydrated and cool.
Looking ahead, the hot streak continues into early next week with temperatures in the low 100s before gradually cooling down towards the end of the week.
