Today in our nation's capital, we're looking at mostly sunny skies with a high near 85 degrees. Light west winds will pick up to 5 to 10 miles per hour in the morning, with the possibility of gusts as high as 18 miles per hour.
As we move into tonight, expect mostly clear conditions with a low around 61 degrees. The northwest wind will be blowing at 3 to 7 miles per hour.
Looking ahead to the weekend, Saturday will bring us plenty of sunshine with a high near 83 degrees, accompanied by a gentle west wind of 6 to 9 miles per hour.
Saturday night transitions into partly cloudy skies, with a low around 65 degrees and a light southwest breeze.
On Sunday, there's a chance of showers after 2pm, along with partly sunny skies and a high near 86 degrees. The light southwest wind will shift to the west at 5 to 9 miles per hour in the morning. The chance of precipitation stands at 30%.
Sunday night may still see a chance of showers, mainly before 8pm, but conditions will be partly cloudy with a low around 63 degrees. The chance of precipitation remains at 30%.
Wrapping up the forecast for Washington DC, Monday will be mostly sunny with a high near 81 degrees, followed by a chance of thunderstorms in the evening hours. The night will bring a mix of showers and thunderstorms.
