Today in Washington DC, we're looking at scattered showers early on, followed by some scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Temperatures will hit a high near 88°F with a gentle south wind blowing at 7 to 10 miles per hour. There's a 60% chance of precipitation, so keep that umbrella handy!
Tonight, expect more showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 11 pm, with some heavy rainfall possible. The low will be around 73°F with a southerly wind at 5 to 7 miles per hour. The chance of precipitation remains at 60%.
As we move into Wednesday, there's just a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon, with mostly sunny skies and a high near 96°F. Make sure to stay hydrated and keep cool!
