On August 4th, 2020, 12 year old Jaylen Griffin of Buffalo New York told his mother that he was going to a nearby convenience store. He left his house, which was located in the Central Terminal area of the city, and did not return home.
Jaylen's whereabouts were unknown for almost four years, until his body was found in April of 2024. A maintenance worker for a multi-unit house located at 107 Sheffield Ave stumbled upon Jaylen's remains while in the attic. The remains were very decomposed, and he was identified through dental records.
