In today's episode I had the pleasure to speak to Cynthia Chavez, a former educator, community advocate and organizer, translator, artist, stretching therapist, and creator of @ccynergywellness.

Her holistic wellness journey- restoring and reclaiming her body, is inspired by the illness in her life and her family. She strives to inspire others to break trauma cycles and deprogram from extraction in our bodies; by restoring our right to collective well-being and connecting with our bodies as vehicles for healing our body, mind, and heart.cShe also shares wellness seeds on the interconnection of our wellness- mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual.

In this episode Cynthia offers a poignant reminder of the importance of connecting with our own bodies, reminding us of the importance of holistic wellness and the pivotal role of stretching for physical and emotional health. She advocates for tuning into the body with deep breathing and basic stretches, particularly significant for beginners, to improve flexibility, posture, and overall well-being.

While society often pushes us to ignore our own needs, honoring our bodies and tending to our inner landscapes with compassion is not only an act of rebellion against a culture of constant doing but also a profound form of self-love.
