I am joined by the incredibly driven, Indra. A listener actually sent me over her profile and I absolutely loved her page and also found that she was a BC gal! Indra is the proud founder of Incluskivity, an organization that provides avalanche safety training to minorities in coastal British Columbia. She is an icon in the local snowsports world, where she consistently advocates for inclusion and diversity in the field.
We chat about the culture of the snowsports world and how the ski community was built upon wealth and money, gender and race power dynamics in sports industries, balancing life and work, merging diversity and inclusion work in her personal life, and self-censorship.
