Most African Farmers predominantly the peasant small holder farming families don't make adequate revenue in time to sustain their growth. Many live from hand to mouth, due largely to their obsolete farming technique, lack of production objective, poor harvest, and post harvest marketing understanding. Many of Africawide smallholder farmers believe, farming is just to enable the family keep body and soul together, perhaps a little extra money to purchase NEEDS for the family.
