Do you sit or stand when you pee? How about when you go to concerts? No, I mean, not whether you sit or stand when you pee at concerts, but... Ugh. Never mind. Anyway, in this 11th and absolute finalfinalFINALlast episode of our podcast, Jase talks about lessons learned from the last concert he went to (Dream Theater with Devin Townsend and Animals as Leaders).

Live music is a three-dimensional way to experience music. Many musicians do not perform with the audience's experience in mind; maybe that one person in the crowd has not had a night on the town in years, or maybe that one woman will be mugged by murderous clowns on the way home - regardless of the situation, it's our job as musicians to (yes, first and foremost sell beer) give the audience an unforgettable experience. Live music is one of the few times in polite society where you're allowed to (expected to?) scream (again, also acceptable while being tortured by clown gangs), jump, dance, clap, and sing along at the top of your lungs. It's glorious and cathartic. If you haven't seen live music in a while, go out and see a band and keep the above in mind (unless you won't be alive, due to clowns and whatnot).

We also need be prepared for equipment malfunctions - but how much redundancy can be expected from a band at our level?

Join us as we explore these topics, drink some hipster IPAs, and make fun of the CD compilation commercials from the 90's (surprisingly, they still air!).

By the way, I'm running out of clown makeup and my usual guy ended up meeting a tragic clown-related end. Know anywhere I can buy more? Oh! And something that gets blood out of my neighbor's stolen car's upholstery?
