A person can have done heaps of good things in the world but when they/we fall we tend to focus on the failure rather than the good. God does not want us to be stuck in that space of being defined by our failures. Peter's story of restoration demonstrates God's mercy and grace and gives us hope that our story does not have to end with our failure - God wants to restore us!
