Today’s West Coast Cookbook & Speakeasy Podcast for our especially special Daily Special, Metro Shrimp & Grits Thursdays, is now available on the Spreaker Player!

Starting off in the Bistro Cafe, the immunity challenge has been hogging the news at SCOTUS, but the Fischer case has been flying under the radar and it could make insurrections great again.
Then, on the rest of the menu, a federal judge ruled Border patrol officers falsely imprisoned a 9-year-old US citizen, and now they must pay; California lawmakers approved a budget that slashes spending and temporarily raises taxes on some businesses; and, an independent watchdog within the IRS reported delays in resolving identity theft cases are ‘unconscionable.’
After the break, we move to the Chef’s Table where Russia ordered an Austrian journalist out in response to Austria’s expulsion of a Russian journalist; and, a Bolivian general was quickly arrested after a failed coup attempt, which is proof it can be done.
All that and more, on West Coast Cookbook & Speakeasy with Chef de Cuisine Justice Putnam.
