Today’s West Coast Cookbook & Speakeasy Podcast for our especially special Daily Special, Metro Shrimp & Grits Thursdays is now available on the Spreaker Player!
Starting off in the Bistro Cafe, Trump has been hit with a devastating development in his state prosecutions.
Then, on the rest of the menu, Meta has killed off the tracking tool CrowdTangle, to keep researchers and journalists from monitoring how misinformation spreads across the company’s platforms; Republican Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is threatening to sue the State Fair of Texas for banning firearms after a fatal shooting also injured scores of people at the Fair last year; and, President Biden will designate the site of the 1908 Springfield, Illinois race riot as a national monument.
After the break, we move to the Chef’s Table where German authorities are investigating the unauthorized entry and sabotage of the water supply at a major military barracks; and, UNESCO reported at least 1.4 million Afghan girls have been deliberately denied access to secondary education since the Taliban takeover in August of 2021.
All that and more, on West Coast Cookbook & Speakeasy with Chef de Cuisine Justice Putnam.
