Today’s West Coast Cookbook & Speakeasy Podcast for our especially special Daily Special, River City Hash Mondays is now available on the Spreaker Player!
Starting off in the Bistro Cafe, The RNC has filed a handful of lawsuits in recent weeks targeting the election administration in the key swing states of Michigan and North Carolina.
Then, on the rest of the menu, the ACLU plans to spend $1.3M to educate Montana voters about their state Supreme Court candidates; Casino company Wynn Resorts has agreed to pay $130 million to federal authorities and admit it laundered international money to its gamblers at its flagship Las Vegas Strip property ; and, star Miami wide receiver Tyreek Hill was violently detained by police before the Dolphins game Sunday with hundreds recording on cell cameras, leading to one officer subsequently placed on administrative leave.
After the break, we move to the Chef’s Table where Turkish president Erdogan vowed to ‘purge’ military graduates who took an oath to defend “a secular, democratic Turkey,” that was discontinued from the academy in 2022; and, opposition candidate and presidential winner Edmundo González, was forced to flee Venezuela by the Maduro regime for asylum in Spain.
