In the studio today we were delighted to be joined by Lisa Barry, who spoke with Daniel about the wonderful Westwood Dawn Chorus walk they went on a couple of weeks ago. This was a chance to listen to a fine selection of birds at the break of day in their natural habitat and identify them with some help from an ornithological expert. You can head some of the sounds captured by Joe Gidley, a Sound Recordist who accompanied the group, at the end of the interview. The birds you will hear, in this order, are: Dawn chorus of songbirds, Tawny Owl, Duet of Blackbird and Song Thrush, Tawny Owl, Wood Pigeons, Wren, Blackcap, Wood pigeons and Wren, Song Thrush and Duet of Song Thrush and Wren.
