Dr. Daniel Woolf has been the Principal and Vice-Chancellor of Queen’s University since 2009. He continues to teach part-time, and is a specialist in early modern British cultural history and the history of historical thought and writing. Principal Woolf is a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of London, the Royal Society of Canada and the Royal Historical Society. He is the author or editor of numerous books on history and historiography, including the five-volume Oxford History of Historical Writing.
