For this episode we had a discussion with Dr. Ron Croce, a full professor at the University of New Hampshire, about his interesting career that intersected with adapted physical education, neurology, biomechanics, and motor learning. Dr. Croce is a distinguished scholar and professor, and has received several awards for his accomplishments. Dr. Croce’s research focuses on: (1) physical and motor functioning of individuals with cognitive and motor impairments, and (2) human neuromuscular functioning and cognition. He has 100+ peer-reviewed publications and is a co-author for the "Developmental and Adapted Physical Activity Assessment" textbook. More specifically, in this discussion we talked about how biomechanics and motor learning fit within adapted physical education, and their importance.
