A new coffee shop with an L.A. vibe has opened recently near downtown Des Moines. Northern Vessel has delicious coffee (I recommend the Spanish Latte. Mainly because that’s all I’ve had so far), food from local distributors, and welcoming baristas. It all started in a dorm room though. You know what, I’ll let T.J. Rude tell his story.
